For this film we have chosen for a low-polygon graphical look. So the best thing to establish the overall vibe of the film, was to create some illustrator art boards defining this style of non-curved shapes. Character design

The character designs as we pitched them basicly remained unaltered for the film.
The concept for the styling of the main character was inspired by the look of our shadow in the califorian sun. The deformed proportions look somewhat cartoon-esque, with a tiny head on this stretched body and those big hands. Which we think works [...]
